With what may have felt like a blink of an eye, the end of the January term is approaching. Many of you might be wondering how to obtain copies of your transcripts from NYU.
Information on how to obtain an official copy of your transcript, or to have one mailed to you or your home institution in a sealed envelope, can be found on the NYU Registrar’s website.
Note that some professors may take longer to post your grade than others. You should make sure all your grades are posted before requesting a copy of your transcript. To do so, you may check your record in Albert. Should more than a week go by with a missing grade, you can contact your professor directly.
We wish you the best of luck with the remainder of the term! As always, feel free contact us with any questions at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Don’t forget the Winter Welcome Food Festival is available to all visiting students this January to help fuel your first week of class! Free offerings of New York treats from bagels to a full meal at Shake Shack are yours for the taking. We’ll see you at the Academic Resource Center!
As today is the first day of classes, we at the Office of University Programs want to officially welcome you to NYU and January Term! Here are some final reminders:
Walk-In Hours: Isaac Amad, your Academic Advisor, will be available each week in the Academic Resource Center for walk-in advising hours at the following times:
Monday: 10 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Tuesday: 10 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Wednesday: 4:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.
Thursday: 1 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Or, if you are unable to meet at these times, email email@example.com to set up an individual appointment.
Drop and Refund Deadlines: Don’t forget that today, Monday, January 4 is the last day to drop a course and receive a full tuition refund. Get in touch with the advising team ASAP if you need to drop your course. Additionally, this Wednesday, January 6, is the last day to drop a course without receiving a “W” grade (withdrawn). For additional dates and deadlines, please see the January Term student handbook.
Winter Guide: Get involved during your time here! Check your NYU email inbox and the Student Resource Center (SRC) website for the Winter Guide, a newsletter highlighting events on campus and throughout NYC during January Term.
Once again, welcome to NYU, best of luck with your courses, and please be in touch if you have any questions!
