Dining During January Term

As mentioned, campus offices and services aren’t operating at 100% during January Term, as it is technically NYU’s winter break. However students do have a few on-campus dining options to sustain them throughout the day.

The Kimmel Marketplace, located on the 3rd floor of the Kimmel Center for University Life, will be open Monday-Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., serving breakfast and lunch. All students, both those who live on and off campus, are welcome to use the dining hall.

Additionally, the Starbucks on Washington Square East and 4th Street will be open during January Term, along with the Dunkin’ Donuts at 110 E. 14th Street.

It’s important to note that there are no meal plans available during January Term. Students may use campus cash, dining dollars (if you have a spring semester meal plan), cash, or credit card to pay for meals at these locations. And, of course, there are countless off-campus dining locations throughout New York City to fulfill any dining need or craving!
