As we’ve discussed before, New York City can be a confusing place! If you haven’t visited campus yet, NYU is truly “in and of the city,” and our buildings are fully integrated into the larger New York City landscape. However you’ll quickly get the hang of navigating Greenwich Village and campus with a few helpful tips and resources!
1. Once you’ve identified your classroom, plot it’s location with our interactive campus map.
2. If it’s not within walking distance, use one of our suggested travel resources on the Getting Around page.
3. Download the NYU Mobile app, which includes a campus map and safe ride features.
4. If you can’t wait until January 5 to see campus, take a virtual tour online!
Please note that there is no campus transportation from NYC airports or train stations to campus, students are responsible for traveling to NYU independently. However we do have some suggestions on our Getting Around page. Finally, if you have specific questions about getting around campus, email firstname.lastname@example.org with your inquiry.
